I am sure you’re going to like everything about this application: the interface (which is quite good looking), the ease of use (quickly connect to your email account), the functionality (manage all your emails), and the price (Mailbird is offered for the great price of free).

The Mailbird installer is close to 26MB in size. Download this installer, run it, and you will be presented with a simple setup wizard. Thanks to this wizard you will quickly get Mailbird up and running on your Windows-powered machine.

To get started with Mailbird you will first have to connect your email account. This is a very simple task: enter your name, your email, and your password. Mailbird will connect to your account, download all your emails, notify you about new emails, and more.

A dark panel on the left hand side of the application’s interface lists the following buttons:
Inbox – view all the emails you received, read emails, easily respond to emails.
Starred – view all the emails you starred.
Drafts – view all the emails you wrote but did not send out.
Sent – view all the emails you sent out.
More – access emails labeled as important, access the Trash, and more.
Apps – access a nice collection of useful apps.
Notification Center – view a list of notifications.
The panel can be expanded so you can get a better view of the buttons that are displayed on it.

When you launch Mailbird for the first time, you will be presented with a Tutorial that quickly guides you through the interface’s main elements and quickly shows you what you can do with the application. Speaking about that, here are the features you can expect to get from Mailbird: view incoming emails, receive notifications when you get a new email message, reply to emails, compose emails and send them out, search within conversations, add labels to conversations, use hotkeys to be more efficient, create a new signature, and more.

As mentioned above, Mailbird is offered for the great price of free. It must be mentioned here that alongside the free Mailbird edition there’s a paid Pro edition. As expected, it comes with some extra features, like the option to monitor multiple email accounts and access to Pro-only apps.

With its good looking interface, ease of use, and useful functionality, Mailbird is sure to put a big smile on your face. It can prove to be the email client you can’t live without.

Pros

Downloading and installing Mailbird will take little of your time. Connecting to your email account is effortless. Mailbird’s interface is good looking and easy to use. A tutorial will quickly take you through the basics. Mailbird offers all the functionality you would expect from an email client. There are two Mailbird editions: free and paid.

Cons

None that I could think of.
